The Black Button - Dreams

For our film Define Me, the second scene is where she has woken up in a space of nothing and white space. This emphasises that she is in a dream. The black button is a good example of using white space to emphasise the theme of a film. At first we think its just a dream but we get to the climactic sequence and find out that he is already dead. I came up with this idea at first as I thought the puppet idea would work really well with it. It gives it the sense of space and when we look through the eyes of Annie (main character) we look into white and shows that she can't go anywhere. We found it quite tricky working with lights in the photography infinity cove due to shadows appearing behind our character. I will cover more about the troubles we came across in my evaluation.
