Picture Perfect

For our second film, we wanted to focus a lot more on having really nice shots instead of having a busy edit like we had in the first film. Using the merlin rig helped with this a lot. In this video below, we have a piece of film that could be hung up on the wall because of how beautiful each individual shot is. A big helping hand from the setting it has been shot in but as shot framing and colour is concerned, it is a magical piece of film. Unfortunately we had a bit of a nightmare with the weather when it came to the day of the shoot at Ilkly Moore. So instead myself and Siobhan went and shot it on Hyde Park. Not the most exotic location but it was better than no location.

I love the color grading in this piece also. Good color grading is essential in a film like this as it makes those wonderful shots look even more beautiful. Color correction is something I have always sturggled with due to me being color blind but I would love to get the hang of it and find the way of color grading that suits me and my videos.
